Congratulations on your Engagement

Wedding photography is about your day and your story. As a wedding photographer in Rotherham covering South Yorkshire and across the UK, I’m there to capture every part of it.

From the getting-ready moments full of excitement and nerves, to the ceremony where everything becomes real, then onto the couple and group photos that you'll be showing your family for years to come, and finally the evening celebrations from the first dance to everyone on the dance floor.

Every wedding is different, and that’s what makes it so special. Whether you’re planning a first look or something unique, your wedding photos should reflect who you are and how your day truly felt. When choosing a wedding photographer in Rotherham or South Yorkshire, it’s so important to find someone who feels like the right fit.

My goal is to help you feel comfortable and able to enjoy every moment, while I quietly capture the smiles, glances, and little details you may not even notice at the time, but will treasure when you look back.

No pressure. No expectations. Just an easy conversation.

STEP 02

Getting to Know You

Unlike most photographers, I offer my couples the chance to have multiple meetings throughout their journey. This can include going through your contract together, visiting your venue (depending on location), creating a mood board, and, most importantly, getting to know you.

Every couple is different, and no two weddings are the same, so I like to make sure each client feels like this is their journey. This is about so much more than just turning up on the day with a camera.

I’m often asked at weddings how long I’ve known the couple, or whether we knew each other before, and that’s exactly how I want it to feel. Getting to know your story, your style, and what you’re both comfortable with is such an important part of how I work.

STEP 03

Picture time

And then comes your wedding day, a day full of laughter, emotion, and so much joy. I’ll be there to capture it all naturally, while also being a calm, friendly presence when you need it.

Whether it’s helping with a buttonhole, easing pre-ceremony nerves, or simply reassuring you that everything is going to be okay, I’m there to help as much as I am to photograph your day.

STEP 04

Delivering photos

Believe it or not, within 24–48 hours of your wedding, you’ll receive 50 preview images, so you can relive those first moments almost straight away.

Your full gallery will then be ready to view within 4-8 weeks. If you’d like, we can also arrange an in-person meeting to go through the gallery together and answer any questions about your images or how to use the online link.

FAQ

What type of photography do you specialise in?

My primary focus is weddings, as I absolutely love capturing the joy, emotion, and magic of a wedding day. From the quiet, intimate moments to the big celebrations on the dance floor, I’m passionate about telling each couple’s story in an authentic and meaningful way.

Alongside weddings, I also offer a wide variety of photography services. These include brand, bar, and commercial packages, on-location headshots, pet, family, and pregnancy photography, as well as graduation and prom packages. I also cover events, including nightlife and band photography, capturing the atmosphere and energy that make each event unique.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

As I am primarily based in South Yorkshire, any photoshoots within this area include travel at no extra cost. For locations outside of South Yorkshire, I am happy to travel anywhere across the UK; however, travel expenses are not included and a small additional fee will be added to cover petrol costs, depending on the distance.

What equipment do you have?

I shoot on two Sony A7 III cameras, which are high-quality mirrorless cameras, each paired with a different lens. I also bring a zoom lens to weddings, alongside additional lighting if needed. This includes both on-camera flash and off-camera flash equipment, allowing me to create beautiful, professional lighting in a variety of settings.

What Post Processing techniques do you use?

When it comes to editing, I tailor my style and focus to each individual client. Some clients love vibrant, colourful imagery, so when editing I’ll lean into this style. Others prefer a grainier, more cinematic look, which is something I’m also happy to edit towards.

Overall, I aim to retouch my images as little as possible, using Lightroom Classic and occasionally Photoshop. This is because I like to focus on the natural tones within each image and ensure the photos truly represent the day as it happened, rather than feeling over-edited.

When editing, I always ask clients to give feedback after receiving their previews. Whether they love or dislike the editing style, I’m completely open to hearing their thoughts, as I like to check that the final images feel right for them and reflect their vision.

What happens if you are ill and have to cancel?

Whilst this is extremely unlikely, it’s included simply to give you peace of mind and ensure you’re always protected.

If I were to become unwell less than one month before your wedding, my absolute priority would be finding a trusted replacement photographer so your day is still fully covered. If this were to happen more than one month before your wedding, I would of course help you find an alternative photographer and provide a full refund, excluding the £100 deposit, which is used to secure your date in my diary.

Your memories matter to me, and I would never leave you without support or guidance.
