Newborn shoots are a beautiful way to capture your little one and enjoy a relaxed, unhurried afternoon together, creating a fun and meaningful experience for the whole family. Welcoming a baby is such a precious and special moment, one that deserves to be remembered in the most heartfelt way.
Newborn sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home or at a location of your choice, depending on what feels right for you. These sessions can include the whole family, with close-up details of tiny hands and feet, as well as any furry family members you’d like to include too.

Your Photography Experience
Babies can be wonderfully unpredictable, and as a photographer, I completely understand that no two sessions are ever the same. That’s why I allow up to 1 hour and 30 minutes for each shoot, giving us plenty of time to work at your baby’s pace. Whether your little one is asleep, awake, or needs feeding, we’ll plan the session around them. There’s absolutely no rush.
Outdoor shoots work best during the spring and summer months, but there’s also the option to have your maternity or newborn shoot at home. Photographing you in your nursery can create beautiful, candid moments and often feels more relaxed, especially if you’re worried about forgetting anything when heading out.
I’ll gently guide you with posing and place you near natural light, such as a window, to create soft, natural-looking images. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, I can also use lighting to recreate that natural feel indoors. If we shoot on location, the session will include a mix of lightly posed images and relaxed, candid moments to capture genuine connection.

Where am i based
I am based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, but I cover photography all across the UK.
For areas within the South Yorkshire region, including Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield, and Barnsley, travel is included in my packages.
For locations beyond these areas, a small travel fee of £40 per hour is applied to cover expenses.
